Recipe Photography
As part of my professional food and drink photography services I also offer the option of recipe photography for food bloggers or culinary newsletter publications, primarily as a remote option photo shoot from my Chicago photography studio.
Below is my basic rates for recipe photos and I also offer video content creation for social media as well. Please feel free to contact me for a more detailed quote for your creative food or beverage photography blog or newsletter recipe development project.
Recipe Photography
- • 5-6 edited photos from each recipe: 1 ingredient, 2-3 process shots, 2-3 final recipe shots
- • Basic ingredient staples stipend of $25.
- • Sourcing special prop rentals, specialty food costs, etc. will be invoiced separately with approved proposal for your project.
Recipe Social Media Video Content
- Ideal for Instagram Reels or Stories, TikTok, or website content to improve SEO. Content will be casual but video lighting will be available.
- • 20-30 second video highlights of the recipe process (dependent on recipe) - $150 per video
- • Short video of finished recipe (under 10 seconds) - $50 per video
Additional Information
A retainer of 50% of the final project estimate is due to start production with final payment due once final product has been delivered to you.
Basic cooking ingredients or pantry staples are included in the grocery expense up to a $25 value stipend. Additional expenses past the $25 stipend or specialty food groceries will be invoiced for final payment. All project expenses will be included as an estimate with your approval before project begins.
Image delivery will be two weeks from start of projected shoot date, either through a private online gallery for photos or a private Google drive folder for video, in order to provide enough time for post-production. If image or video delivery is need earlier a rushed delivery fee will be added to the final invoice of $150.
