I am a former photojournalist for the Laredo Morning Times in Laredo, Texas where I began working as a staff photographer after earning my bachelor’s degree in photography/journalism from Columbia College Chicago in early 2005. In late 2007 I began freelancing full-time as an editorial photographer and photo editor back in my hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Whether it be an editorial assignment, commercial food photography, or portraits my style encapsulates a lifestyle or documentary style. My passion has always been capturing storytelling images.

In 2018 I relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota, earning a master’s degree in strategic communications at the University of Minnesota Twin/Cities campus, and in 2022 back to Chicago, Illinois where I am available throughout the Chicagoland region – Midwest or nationally/internationally for commercial photography or editorial photography assignments specializing in food, portrait, branding, and product photography. Please feel free to  contact me by email for availability.
